About
This beautiful new facility is due for completion at the end of October 2018, with the grand opening planned for Monday 7th January 2019. We cater for children from babies through to Preschool, and ensure we maintain smaller intimate group sizes.
Balance Early Education is more than an education and care service, it’s a place to be, belong and become.
A place where children are nurtured and able to enjoy their childhood as they explore authentic environments and actively contribute to their world. Where every child belongs, regardless of how their life has begun and how their journey will evolve.
A place where families can participate and be involved in their child’s learning journey. Our role is to take the stress out of using childcare, to give families the peace of mind that their child is receiving the love, attention and inspiration that they deserve.
A place where staff are able to have fun at work, where they feel secure, empowered and valued. Where contribution is encouraged and recognised as essential to a successful service.
Just as our bee represents the balance in nature, we are committed to supporting our children to understand the impact that we all have on our precious environment. We have mindfully chosen resources which complement nature, including natural timbers and sustainable products. Through our “Garden to Gourmet” program, children learn about gardening, recycling, sustainability and healthy eating, while getting to enjoy the flavour of their work.
We make a conscious effort to purchase locally whenever we can, so that we can support our local businesses. Our philosophy guides our decision making around purchasing, particularly in regard to sustainable products and products that support authentic learning opportunities. Our furniture and timber features are made from long-lasting hardwood timbers, including Victorian Ash, Merbau and Ironbark. Each item has been chosen to stimulate children’s interests and their connection with the environment, and to encourage them to explore the world around them.
