Balanced Bathurst aims to respect our rich agricultural and heritage past, while looking to the future. Lead candidate Ben Fry is co-owner and licensee of family-owned and operated “BoxGrove” function centre, sited on 55 acres in Eglinton, on the edge of Bathurst. Ben and fiancee Kayla, her sister Melissa, and Melissa’s husband Ben host weddings and significant life events every weekend. More than 80% of couples who hire BoxGrove Farm hail from outside our LGA, bringing hundreds of visitors to town each week. It’s the team’s mission to ensure the broader local economy benefits from these visitors.
