About
We believe it is important to be aware of the diversity and multicultural nature of our community and to reflect this diversity throughout the centre, as well as in our programming and daily experiences we provide our children. We acknowledge and work in partnership with our families and local community. We recognise that families are the first and most influential teachers in each child’s life, this partnership is essential in the overall development of the child. We believe in providing opportunities for children
to be exposed to a variety of experiences that are influenced by the diversity and culture of families and the community. We have strong beliefs in social justices; support all family structures and cultural backgrounds
We believe that parents are the first teachers of their children and so we will embrace and encourage parents’ participation and involvement within our centre on a daily basis, as well as in our program development.
We believe that relationships that are established between staff and parents are valuable and crucial to the education and well being of children in our centre.
